The ChainWriting

Once upon a time, there was English Only Policy in Korea, called EOP. All the people use only English. Some teenagers didn't want to use English. They made underground group and named 'AK', The Association of Korean. However, they had to go out of undergrond and buy food or etc. They went up to eat something.  They saw a hotdog store and try to order hotdogs. But, they couldn't speak English. With body language, they got hotdogs. Suddenly, one man came to them and took every hotdogs and threw it on the ground. They tried to complain to him in Korean, but saying "threw it on the ground" every time. AK realize that they have to learn English because a stupid man even ignore them. So they didn't join in AK anymore to learn English. But learning English was very hard. They couldn't pronounce well, so they went to GLPS to learn English. In that camp, many people who had objected EOP and started learning English recently. They studied and practiced English very hard, but in some situation, they had to speak Korean. Some was caught by the PAs, make them to memorize EOP paper. Students kept complaining, but teachers ignored them. Finally, students decided not to eat and started demonstrating aganist PAs. But, PAs just used English even scolding students not to do it. So, teenagers gave up and used English, and they could eat food. After the GLPS, they can speak English well. They can communicate with others.

  1. This is funny and interesting. The stuff about hotdogs was a bit random, but very comedic. I'm sure you can find an interesting way to make this a bigger story later in the camp.

For now, I'd like you to go and read it again, and make sure all the verbs are correct. We have too much mixing of past and present tense. Since this story is being told as if it already happened, all the verbs need to be past tense. I'll be checking back to see if you made the changes.

  2. I think you should use only English to avoid memorizing EOP papers and communicate with others. I will make hotdogs when you come back to home after graduate the camp successfully. Enjoy your works! :-)
